 Posted on Wed, May 5, 2010 What an amazing response to our call for shoes. On Sunday, May 2, people came forward and left their shoes at the altar, as a gift for someone who needs shoes. Many people brought shoes from home also, resulting in a huge pile of shoes. The next step is the rubberband them in pairs and box them up for shipment. That will take place on Sunday, May 16 at 9:45. In fact, it will be a "contest" by the Sunday School children and Youth to match shoes, band them, and box them. We'll celebrate with a "flip-flop" cake! No messages have been posted.
